#Ads of the Week: Ramee and shroud

#ads of the week

This week’s #Ads of the Week was highlighted by three game titles, Raid: Shadow Legends, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, and recently released HumanKind. Published on August 17th, Humankind is a turn-based strategy 4X (abbreviation of Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate) video game by Amplitude Studios and published by Sega. Currently, the game is out on Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Stadia.

Since its launch, Humankind has experienced over 2M hours watched across Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Facebook Gaming. Popular streams like LIRIK, alanzoka, and CohhCarnage all streamed the title in the first week of release. Humankind has also enabled a unique Twitch drop. By watching certain Twitch streamers play the game, viewers can earn the personas of content creators. A Humankind “persona” is a virtual copy of a streamer in the game that allows players to play against an AI version of that content creator. Joueur-du-Grenier is one of the streamers who have an unlockable persona and was promoting it during his #ads stream.

RAID: Shadow Legends has been a strong sponsorship partner across live streaming platforms since its launch back in 2018. Today, the mobile free-to-play game continues to work with a variety of streamers to run their campaigns. A little over a month ago, popular streamer Ninja was added into the game as a playable character.

Like RAID: Shadow Legends, NARAKA BLADEPOINT works with streamers to promote itself. Shroud and NARAKA: BLADEPOINT secured the third spot in last week’s #ads post. However this week, shroud secured the second #ads spot by streaming and taking part in the event, Asura Showmatch. Streamers shroud, Lirik, and Summit1G teamed up to fight against pro-players of the game. For the official Twitch channel for NARAKA, the event generated over 23K hours watched with 14K peak viewers.

Ramee x Raid: Shadow Legends

  • While playing GTA Online, Ramee averaged 11K viewers for his RAID: Shadow Legends sponsored stream.

shroud x NARAKA: Bladepoint

  • shroud’s NARAKA: Bladepoint sponsored stream generated 25K peak viewers, the top on this week’s list.

Joueur_du_Grenier x Humankind

  • With over 48K hours watched, Joueur’s Humankind sponsored stream led all other Humankind sponsored streams by hours watched this week.
